I LOVE Old Navy

So I just got back from the Old Navy in Idaho Falls. Right now they are having the 50% off of clearence so I bought 20 items for $54. That comes out to an average of $2.70 per clothing item. I got a cute pair of jeans for Isabelle in 3 sizes.

Isabelle aka Isabelly button, Bea and Isasmell

Isabelle just had her 3rd birthday. It was a fun day. We went out and got pizza and then went bowling. She told us that she wanted a pink cake with pink frosting and a pink present with princesses. So we made a bunny cake and let the kids decorate it. And she got a little people princess with a horse and carriage. Here are some pictures.

Geneology, I am doing it.

I've been working on our family history lately. I just discovered that Marie and I are 9th cousins. We are both 9th great-grandchildren of Elizabeth Leids. Also, Walt Disney is my fifth cousin once removed. Maybe they'll give me a discount at disneyland.

We Will Become Silhouettes

This is a video of a great "Family Home Evening" taking place in the 70's (to great music). Things to watch for:
Canning food.
Talent show.
Mom sewing matching outfits (and teaching the daughter).
Dehydrated food.
Family bike ride.
Loving looks from parents.
(My personal favorite)Annoyed looks from son.

Song by The Postal Service with Ben Gibbard (of Deathcab for Cutie) and Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley and "Troop Beverly Hills").

Glue the Moon?

Tonight on the way home from Grandma and Grandpas house Isabelle looked out of the window and informed us that the Moon was broken and we needed to fix it. The moon right now is a half moon. So we asked her how we should fix it and she said we should get in a rocket ship and take some glue with us to glue it back together. Isabelle is so much fun!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

Last night I was reading to Will the book "Would You Rather Be a Bullfrog" and it starts out "Would you rather be a dog or would you rather be a cat?" I asked Will what he would rather be and he said "A Transformer" so I asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up and his reply was the same. I didn't realize he has such high ambitions.
