40 Horse Cave
Yesterday we went with Drew's family to 40 Horse Cave. It was a fun little hike up the mountain and the canyon was beautiful. When we got up to the cave Will and Isabelle's cousins told them that bats would come out and bite them so the kids were scared and we didn't stay to long at the cave. I think the kids also knew that there were cookies back at the cars.

Easter at the Cabin
A Party and 24 Pencils
The Harris family had a lot of fun over conference weekend. On Saturday night we had a pot luck here at the house and then the guys went to Priesthood session while the ladies played games. The kids had a blast and we had some yummy food. Here's a picture of some of the kids. I forgot to take out the camera until after a few families had left.
On Sunday we had a nice relaxing day watching conference at home but I guess we were not watching the kids very closely because Sunday night Isabelle said she had a belly ache. An hour after bed time she threw up and it had a bunch of pink stuff in it. Isabelle had eaten the erasers off of 24 pencils! I hope she has learned her lesson because she threw up at least 3 times that night. Yuck!

This last Friday, Saturday and Sunday I went up to Drew's family cabin with 14 other ladies. We had so much fun! We are definitely going to have to do this again. We played lots of fun games, sang karaoke, played Wii and had lots of yummy food and treats. Thank you girls for such a fun weekend. Here are some pics...

I'm BAD at Blogging
Well the title says it all. I am really bad at blogging. I knew even before I started this blog that I would have a hard time keeping up with it so I am going to try harder. Here is the family update. January was pretty uneventful. February started out with a trip to Seattle to visit my sister Kathleen and her family. It was so much fun and we really needed the vacation. We got to go to the Pacific Science Museum, the Naval Museum, IKEA, and a bakery that had the best donut I have ever tasted(It was shaped as a gingerbread man with maple frosting and chocolate buttons.) It was nice to visit with Kathleen and Chris and they even watched our kids so we could go on a date. Thank You!
On Friday, February 13th Will had his 5th birthday. He was so excited to turn 5. We had a family party and Will and Isabelle decorated his cake. Will comes up to me every few days and tells me he wishes he could have a birthday everyday. He is all ready looking forward to turning 6. Will and Isabelle have started a new game called spies. They have been playing this for about a month now and they like to tote "Spy Kate" around with them. Everyone in the family is a spy except me, I am the "Teacher". I don't mind though because I can give them missions like "clean Isabelle's room" and "get me a drink of water" it has been fun.
Kate is almost 10 months old now and has been crawling around for about a month. She is really getting fast and loves to follow everyone around. She is also really good at entertaining herself and likes to smile and imitate us. If we blow in her face she tries to blow back and if we click our tongue she clicks back. She will even give kisses but they are always open mouth with her tongue hanging out. Drew and I are doing well. He has been working on his next book Tally Cat and I'm trying to recover from the flu. I have been in bed since Wednesday. I guess I should have gotten the flu shot. I have never been this sick before. I think it was worse than all three pregnancies combined. But I am getting better and can't wait for this weekend. My friends and I will be going up to Drew's family cabin to have a girls weekend. No husbands, No kids (well except for nursing babies of course) and No responsibilities. Whoo hoo! I will definitely post pictures of the fun.

December
We started out our December by participating in our Ward's live Nativity Scene. Drew and I were Mary and Joseph and Kate was the baby Jesus. We were asked to tell the story of Mary and Joseph in our own words and we both got to bear our testimonies of Christ. It really brought the true meaning of Christmas into our hearts as we studied the scripture accounts of the birth of Jesus and were able to testify of him. Here is a picture.
We took a little vacation and went up to the Harris family cabin for a few days. It was great to just go up and relax. It had not snowed yet so we got to go out and take a little nature hike.
We had a fun Christmas Potluck dinner with some of our friends and had yummy food and a fun time playing Catch Phrase.
The girlfriends- Kate, Parker and Eliza
The kids got to see Santa at the bank, or the Piggy Bank as Isabelle calls it.
Christmas Eve we went out to eat with Drew's family and after Christmas morning we had a delicious Prime Rib dinner at Drew's parents house. Will was really excited for Santa to come. Both Will and Isabelle went right to bed on Christmas Eve because we told them that Santa would not come to our house until they were asleep. They slept in until 8:45 then we went out and saw what Santa bought us. Will loved his Bumblebee Transformer and Hot Wheels track and Isabelle was really excited to get a Sleeping Beauty Barbie and Little People pet salon. Kate just loved all of the excitement and her fun new toys.
After Christmas we went up to the cabin again but this time there was lots of snow. We were there for six days. We spent the first few days with my brothers Roger and David and their families. Then Drews family came up and we spent New Years eve playing games and eating lots of treats.
Sledding with Uncle David
Here are two great video's from December. The first is of Kate. She is a little crazy, she loves it when Drew throws her in the air. Listen to her laugh. The second movie is of the kids taking a bath at the cabin. I guess Kate was hungry.

Well, I am really behind on posting so here it goes...
November started out with Isabelle's 3rd birthday and ended with Thanksgiving. We had a great Thanksgiving in Idaho Falls with Andrew's family. He had all of his siblings there so we had a lot of fun playing games and making the annual Harris Family Film. This year we made Over the Top II. If you don't know what Over the Top is (I didn't before we started making the film) It is a Sylvester Stallone arm wrestling movie. The Harris family version is definitely better than the first. Andrew, the kids and I were also able to attend a BYU basketball game in Pocatello. We had a lot of fun. The kids loved the mascot and the game food. Andrew was excited because he LOVES BYU sports and BYU won. Here are some photos...

Sitting on the hot air. It is really cold in Idaho!

Isabelles fashion. Notice the water shoes, two different kinds of pajama's and snow gloves and hat.

BYU Won!!!

High Five!
